That story about the 11 year old is chilling. If that’s the case, my parents would’ve been locked up in the clink for how they raised me. What I don’t get is the neighbors. Did they even bother talking to the kid before calling the cops?

- I have to assume when I see stories like this there was existing bad blood between the neighbors, which is almost more chilling. My parents would definitely have gone to jail too if this was the prevailing norm in 1990.
