  1. That graph on “entitlements” shows that the poor benefit, no? The represent twenty percent of the population and receive thirty percent of benefits. Though it kind of depends on how you define “benefit.”

    • I was thinking more of the racial distribution the piece describes, with white people receiving more of their share of the aid and nonwhite people receiving less.
