11/18/11: “Shipwrecked Passengers on a Doomed Planet”

with 2 comments

Somewhat unexpectedly, Dukelings and Durhamites can find me filling in at the Literature Graduate Student Colloquium next Friday (the 18th) at 6 PM in Friedl Building 225. I’m presenting from chapter three of my dissertation, on ecology and apocalypse in 1970s and post-1970s science fiction; the title of both the chapter and the talk is “Shipwrecked Passengers on a Doomed Planet.”

Hope you can make it out!

  1. Good luck. I wish I could be there, but not on the doomed planet.

    • Peter, I have some terrible news: it was Earth all along.
