Sayonara / Konnichiha
Improbably, I am off this morning to Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan, for NASSS 2011. Dreading the very long plane ride(s) ahead of me, and somewhat concerned about how crazy tired and out-of-it I will be both when I finally arrive and when I eventually get back, I am nonetheless incredibly excited. I’ve always wanted to go to Japan, and just as much I’ve always wanted somebody else to pay for it.
Blogging and Twittering will be light-to-nonexistent, and 13 hours upside-down besides, until sometime in the middle of next week. Have fun without me, and please don’t crash the global economy till I get back…
