My longstanding prediction that Newt Gingrich would be the GOP’s 2012 Bob Dole took perhaps its deathblow today: his entire staff suddenly quitting en masse. And of course Twitter was there, though Ambinder doesn’t highlight even a single variation on “Gingrich staff divorces ailing candidate in his moment of greatest need.”
