  2. Some good comments in the Yglesias post. I especially liked this one by cmholm: “Getting older? It’s a cliche that people get more conservative as they get older. I started out pretty conservative, but gradually came to see how most conservative positions are intended to 1) hoard wealth among the top 0.1%, and 2) obscure that fact. So, I’ve gotten pissed off and tacked against the trend.”

  3. What the hell are those two fools talking about? I expected random outbursts of silliness from Yglesias, but I would have though Drum would be smart enough not to say a sentence like “Liberals have gotten a lot done in the past 80 years,” as if second half of that period wasn’t a steady erosion of those accomplishments.

    Frankly, the fact that both see themselves in terms of product differentiation says it all.
