  1. It’s a scandal that asteroid/comet impact is not mentioned on this list. It’s the multimillion ton elephant in the room.

    • people like to ignore that because they aren’t interested in funding a robust enough space program to potentially deal with it.

  2. Peak Oil? It’s about more than just the price. Global economic growth demands energy to feed it. In particular energy for transportation and agriculture. Simply raising the price does not replace that energy when supply is constrained; another unused energy resource must be made available to replace it’s services.
