Wasn’t contempt for their own sponsors what got the Dana Carvey show (featuring cast member Stephen Colbert) canceled after six episodes?

Sort of. My extensive study of comedy podcasts has taught me that the Dana Carvey Show was something of a trainwreck from the outset.
